I'm so excited I could spit! I decided to be a little more proactive and gave the kind folks at Williams Sonoma a call to see if they were still interested in me maybe doing an in-store demo of their Halloween gingerbread house kit. Cut to 24 hours later and me emailing over my business deets for the flyer they're making up for my first ever WS class! I went down to the Brea store and picked up two gingerbread kits and just finished up this fantasy haunted house version. Next up - using solely what comes in the kit to show WS shoppers what they can do at home with their gingerbread houses if they don't already have a bunch of cookie decorating tools in their pantry. I'll break down some of this house's highlights in the photos below. Enjoy!
Over view of the house front.
Gravestones in an overgrown front lawn.
Delicate royal icing "wrought iron" entrance.
Graham cracker welcome mat.
Black icicles hide the bare roofline edge.
Wrought iron fence detail.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch shingles.
Black chocolate rocks hide house seams.
Back view with boarded up windows.
Happy Halloween!
This looks amazing! It is so detailed! Fabulous job!
