Aww... Here is my first paid party gig. Not too shabby an effort, but I'm looking back with a critical eye at all I would do differently (get there earlier and get better pictures is at the top of the list!). Other than that, Kim's owl themed baby shower really did go off without a hitch and Janelle, the hostess, was really pleased and appreciative of all my efforts.
We set up the shower at Janelle's favorite Mexican restaurant, hanging this handmade felt banner above the dessert buffet. These banners not only welcome the mama-to-be's new addition, but are also a great sentimental keepsake.
The dessert buffet turned out beautifully and the owl masks I'd painted really added a lot of whimsy. In addition to all of the goodies provided by Oh, Sugar! there was also a beautiful owl cake from Kim's favorite bakery. It was the perfect cherry on top of this sugar sundae. Gifts for the big sister.
Kim and her daughter in her Big Sister crown and sash. They had a great time and I was happy to be a part of her celebration. Congrats and welcome baby Chloe!
