My New Airbrush

Cookie Quickie: Oliver Favors

Cute favors based on the play programs for a great client's daughter.  I played won rave reviews for my portrayal of Old Sally in a production of Oliver when I was in the sixth grade so these have a special place in my heart. (Role as Old Sally = true.  Rave reviews = false.)  Hopefully the kiddos like them enough to "want some more."  Enjoy!

Cookie Quickie: Teen Mom 2 Cookies

I love unusual requests and this set was one of those.  A father of the groom ordered this set of Teen Mom 2 logo cookies (based on the MTV Reality show) for their wedding shower. Why? Because the groom to be is one of the producers of the show and his dad thought it would be a fun surprise.  Indeed it was!  He sent me a sweet note afterward saying they were a big hit and included photographic evidence. See for yourself.  Enjoy!

Happy customers.

Retro Baby Shower

Holy cuteness, Batman!  One of my favorite clients requested this fun and cheery dessert table for a friend's baby shower and this is what we came up with.  When we initially consulted there were a lot of disparate elements discussed: pin up, rockabilly, retro, nautical, cherries, kewpie dolls, polka dots and sparrows.  I was a little nervous about how to meld all of these elements so I wound up paring down and really focusing on kewpies, polka dots and nautical elements.  Here are the super sweet results.  Enjoy!

Fan background - sometimes you just KNOW you will "use it someday," as was the case with these polka dot beauties from the 99 Cent Store.  I found them in February (a Valentine's Day Special) and finally got to use them in June!  Totally worth the wait.
