Because we are extremely vain, every once in awhile we google ourselves to see if we've been mentioned anywhere in cyberspace. Today there was a pleasant surprise when I found someone other than myself (via my own self serving blog posts) giving us props. We found a really rockin' blog called Disastrous Jane that features a little bit of everything - parties, flowers, fashion, style, photography, food and on and on. See? Sometimes vanity leads to good things, like discovering really cool new blogs. Check out our sweet write up here then stick around to explore all of her fab posts. Thanks Disastrous Jane!

Winston's Jewelers Proposal
Tomorrow is a big day for Oh, Sugar! I meet up with a high end jeweler who is looking to carry my cookies in his store for his clients to enjoy while shopping. Their logo and signature colors are black and gold so I kept the designs clean and simple, highlighting details with sparkly sugar crystals, edible pearls and metallic luster dust. Below are the cookies for my presentation. Enjoy - and wish me luck!
Diamond solitaires in gold and platinum.
Sparkly diamond detail.
Necklace mannequins.
Pearl and ruby pendant.
Fab cameos - love these.
Jeweler's signature "W"
Tons of sparkly diamonds.
All packaged up pretty.

Cameo Cookies
So excited to share these beauties with you! These cameo sugar cookies are part of a proposal I am (sloooowly) putting together to present to a high end jewelry store who is interested in carrying my cookies to serve their clients as they sip champagne while shopping for shiny baubles. More to come on this one - Enjoy!

Mardi Gras Cookies
Laissez les bons temps rouler. Happy Mardi Gras, all! I baked up a batch of these fab New Orleans themed munchies as a surprise hostess gift for two different Mardi Gras parties my husband and I were invited to this weekend. Louisiana, crawfish, masks, fleur de lis, and, of course, beads, beads, beads. They were a total hit and I actually booked a couple of paying gigs off of them. Enjoy!
New Orleans!
