Little Red Riding Hood Cookies
Love this collection of Little Red Riding Hood cookies for a client's little girl's birthday party. Little Red was based on our client's printables and I have to say they were just adorable. She really wanted to incorporate the gingham, which gave us an excuse to experiment with painting on sugar cookies. Love the results and hope you will to. Enjoy!

Nautical Baby Shower Treats
Oh, Sugar! was so thrilled to get a chance to do an assortment of goodies for a recent nautical themed baby shower at a beautiful home on the water in Balboa. Using traditional red, white and royal blue, the hostess wanted us to use these beautiful cookies by Jaclyn's Cookies as inspiration. We put our own twist on them, starting with these teeny tiny flag cookies for our triple decker baby cake. Check out all the sweet details below. Enjoy!

Cookie Quickie: Hello Kitty 2.0
Here she is. Sweet and simple. The birthday girl wanted her bow in brown and pink and we were happy to oblige. On a side note, it cracks me up. On Facebook I can post about a pretty intricate and labor intensive cookie design and get a smattering of response. But post about this relatively easy design (I know, I know, of a much beloved character) and I get a couple hundred virtual thumbs up in no time. Just an observation.

Cookie Quickie: PeeWee Herman
"I know you are, but what am I?" What you are, PeeWee, is proof that sometimes things don't always come together as you envision and cookie-fying recognizable figures is really, really hard! I think the hairline and red bow tie might just have saved these.
